Aboubakar s transfer is off: Sao Paulo off the table

Cameroonian star Vincent Aboubakar, who played for Beşiktaş and Hatayspor in the Super Lig, has been without a club since May.

The 33-year-old has been in talks with Brazilian club Sao Paulo in recent days. According to reports in the Brazilian press, the Brazilian team is not very warm to the transfer due to the player's high wage demands and his physical condition.

Sao Paulo, who were looking for a striker, shelved this transfer and turned to alternative names.

HATAYSPOR PERFORMANCE

Aboubakar made 25 appearances for Hatayspor in the Super Lig, scoring seven times and assisting twice. In the Turkish Cup, he scored one goal in 3 matches.
