Benfica announced: Fenerbahçe signs Kerem Aktürkoğlu in €25m deal

Portuguese powerhouse Benfica has officially announced that an agreement has been reached with Fenerbahçe for the transfer of Turkish international Kerem Aktürkoğlu. The move comes as a major development in the European transfer market.

In a statement released on the club's official website, Benfica confirmed the details of the deal. "An agreement has been reached with Fenerbahçe for the transfer of Kerem Aktürkoğlu. The agreement includes a fixed transfer fee of €22.5 million and a variable fee dependent on the achievement of certain objectives. This means the total value of the transfer could reach €25 million."

The statement also noted that due to a prior transfer clause, Benfica had informed Aktürkoğlu's former club, Galatasaray, about the conditions of the agreement. The talented winger's move to Portugal represents a significant acquisition for Benfica and a substantial transfer fee for Fenerbahçe.
