Benfica held to a draw, Sporting crowned champions in Portugal!

In the 34th week of the Portuguese Primeira Liga and the final match of the season, Benfica, featuring our national players Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Orkun Kökçü, faced Braga away from home.

The home team started strong, and in the 24th minute, Rodrigo Zalazar scored from a penalty, putting Braga 1-0 ahead. After the goal, Benfica increased the pressure, but the first half ended 1-0.

With player substitutions, the away team gradually took control of the game, and in the 63rd minute, Vangelis Pavlidis scored to make it 1-1.

After this, both teams had clear chances, but no more goals were scored, and the match ended 1-1.

Our national players, Kerem Aktürkoğlu and Orkun Kökçü, both started the match in the starting lineup, with Kerem Aktürkoğlu being substituted by Bruma in the 59th minute. Orkun Kökçü also left the game in the 87th minute.

With Sporting's victory, Benfica finished the season in second place, raising their points to 80, while Braga reached 66 points.

Sporting, who defeated Guimaraes at home, were crowned champions.
