According to a report by Jose Felix Diaz; Fenerbahçe, who parted ways with Jose Mourinho, have identified their new manager. In this context, Canaries have started negotiations with German coach Roger Schmidt.

The 58-year-old Schmidt parted ways with Portuguese side Benfica last year. In 115 appearances for Benfica, Roger Schmidt averaged 2.26 points.

The German coach, who last worked at Benfica, has been in charge of teams such as PSV Eindhoven, Bayer Leverkusen and Salzburg in his career. The experienced coach has not coached a team for about a year.
