Gennaro Gattuso era in Italy

After the Italian national team parted ways with Luciano Spaletti following the 3-0 loss to Norway, the new coach was announced.
Gianluigi Buffon announced that Gennaro Gattuso has replaced Spaletti. “We made the best choice,” Buffon said about Gattuso.

Gattuso, 47, started his coaching career at Palermo and has worked at OGI Crete, Pisa, Milan, Napoli, Valencia, Marseille and finally Hajduk Split.

Gattuso has made 308 appearances as a manager, with 133 wins, 89 draws and 86 defeats. The Italian coach won the Coppa Italia with Napoli in the 2019-2020 season.
