Genoa will not sign Jean Onana

The future of Jean Onana, who Beşiktaş recruited in 2023, has become a matter of curiosity. Onana, who is not considered in the team next season, was loaned to Serie A team Genoa.

Onana, who made only 9 appearances for Genoa this season, was on the pitch for 298 minutes. The Cameroonian midfielder had a €1.5 million non-compulsory purchase option. Onana's loan contract with Genoa expires on June 30.

According to reports in Italy, Genoa have decided not to exercise Onana's option to buy. Besiktas, who want to free up their foreign quota, will look for another team for the Cameroonian midfielder.
