Jonjoe Kenny on the verge of signing with PAOK

Jonjoe Kenny has apparently decided where he wants to lace up his soccer boots next year.

The English right-back, whose contract with Hertha BSC was not renewed after three years, has decided against clubs from Germany. The 28-year-old is about to sign for PAOK Thessaloniki, reports transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano.

A report in the German newspaper “Bild” also suggests that this information is true, reporting on the rejection by 1. FC Köln.

The Bundesliga promotion contender wanted to sign Kenny as an option for Jusuf Gazibegovic, but was turned down.

According to Romano, the same applies to Werder Bremen and Sheffield United, who were also interested.
