West Ham forward Michail Antonio has played football for the first time since December, when he broke his leg in a serious car accident. Antonio came on as a substitute for Jamaica in the 85th minute of a 1-0 Gold Cup group-stage defeat to Guatemala in California.
Antonio's future at West Ham uncertain
Earlier this month West Ham announced that "no formal decision" had been made about the 35-year-old's future, despite him being out of contract this summer, due to his "unique situation."
The club announces the departure of four players
As the club announced that four players - Aaron Cresswell, Lukasz Fabianski, Vladimir Coufal and Danny Ings - would all leave West Ham this summer, they also said, "no formal decision and announcement on Antonio's future until such time that it is considered right and appropriate".
Former captain Kurt Zouma has since become the fifth out-of-contract player to be released by West Ham, but as yet, there is still no official word on whether Antonio will have role at the club next season.
