Mourinho flew into a rage but... Fenerbahçe can get a compensation

Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho, with whom Fenerbahce parted ways, has signed with Benfica. In the club's statement, it was noted that a 2-year contract was signed with the 62-year-old coach. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mourinho said: "I made a mistake by going to Fenerbahçe, but I gave everything until the last day. Coaching Benfica means returning to my level."

It was not easy for me to congratulate Benfica and Bruno Lage. Benfica had good players, a good manager, but that's life."

'MOURINHO SHOULD PAY COMPENSATION'

Mourinho, who signed with Benfica in a hurry after leaving Fenerbahçe, caused ethical problems that are difficult to explain after the yellow-lacivertli team was eliminated from the Champions League with a 1-0 defeat to the same team.

Fenerbahçe has the right to file a complaint and demand compensation. Fenerbahçe can file a lawsuit in one of the Civil Courts of First Instance in Istanbul and demand compensation from Mourinho. If the judiciary decides that Mourinho must pay compensation and this judgment becomes final, he will be obliged to pay. If the Portuguese coach fails to pay, the case will go to FIFA. Fenerbahçe must defend this right!"
