Pepe Reina becomes a manager

Spanish goalkeeper Pepe Reina has announced that he will end his 25-year career and become a manager.

According to reports in the Spanish press, Reina, the 42-year-old goalkeeper of the Italian team Como, will say goodbye to professional football on Friday, May 23, with the Como-Inter match in the last week of the season in Serie A.

Reina, who started his professional career at Barcelona in 2000 and played for big clubs in Europe such as Liverpool, Bayern Munich, Milan, Lazio and Napoli, protected the Spanish National Team in 36 matches.
