The behavior of the away fans of Samsunspor, who played against Greek representative Panathinaikos in the UEFA Europa League Play-Off first match, was appreciated as much as the football played by Samsunspor.

The red-white team's fans picking up the garbage before leaving the Athens Olympic Stadium at the end of the match was widely echoed in the media both in Greece and in many countries around the world.
