After parting ways with Jose Mourinho, Fenerbahçe has appointed Italian coach Domenico Tedesco as technical director for 2 years. The Italian coach last coached the Belgian national team and parted ways with Leipzig 3 years ago.
Here is the statement made to KAP;
Domenico Tedesco has been appointed as the Technical Director of our club's Professional Football A Team.
A 2-year contract has been agreed upon and Gökhan Gönül, one of our former captains who wore our striped jersey for many years, will be assisted by the new coach.
Details regarding the signing ceremony of our new technical team will be shared later.

GÖKHAN GÖNÜL SURPRISE
After Domenico Tedesco became the new technical director at Fenerbahçe, it was claimed that there would be a Turkish coach in the technical team. Legendary footballer Gökhan Gönül, who once played for Fenerbahçe, will be Tedesco's assistant. Gönül has previously worked for the national team.
