The former Fenerbahce star signed at the age of 44: Daniel Güiza s new address announced

The new address of Daniel Güiza, who transferred to Fenerbahçe for 14 million Euros in 2008, has surprised. The 44-year-old veteran footballer has signed a 1-year contract with Spanish 7th Division side Rayo Sanluqueno.

OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED

Güiza, who last played for UD Rotena, has signed a one-year contract with Rayo Sanluqueno in the Spanish 7th Division.

HE PLAYED FOR FENERBAHÇE

Daniel Güiza, who started his football career at Xerez youth team, was transferred to Barcelona B Team in 2003. In the 2008 European Football Championship, Güiza played for the Spanish National Team and then joined Fenerbahçe for 14 million Euros. Güiza, who wore the yellow-navy blue jersey for three years, scored 35 times and assisted 21 times in 98 matches for Fenerbahçe.

After leaving Fenerbahce, the Spaniard transferred to Getafe and played for US team Johor DT, Paraguayan team Cerro Porteno, Spanish teams Cadiz, Sanluqueno, UD Algaida, CD Rota and UD Rotena.
