It has been learned that Tomas Rosicky, the legendary Czech footballer who played for teams like Dortmund and Arsenal during his playing career, has been admitted to intensive care.
Since 2018, Rosický has been serving as the sporting director at Sparta Prague, and he released a statement regarding his illness:
“As a player and an executive, I have always done my best. Without hesitation, with full effort. However, this situation has shown me that I need to take better care of myself. Unfortunately, poor lifestyle habits, lack of physical activity, and family predispositions have brought me here. The good news is that although I am currently unable to fulfill the demanding responsibilities of a sporting director, a full recovery is expected. Since we always work as a team, I will stay in touch with my colleagues. We have a clear vision, a strategy, and structured processes. The kids will take care of it.”
